I'm tanked!

Once upon a time, there was an old rusted out stock tank in one of our pastures. Now it is home and filled with old dirt and awaiting veggies and flowers. Before I filled it with dirt, I placed an old iron bed in it. Morning Glories will grace the head board and Sweetpeas at the foot. I'm so anxious to get things planted, but it will be mid-May before it is warm enough here. We also dug up a large area at one end of the house for landscaping. Oh, did I have fun buying shrubs, trees and perennials. Spring is finally here...now for some warm sunny days so that I can get in the dirt.

I always wanted a "flower bed" like that too, can't wait to see it in full bloom! Nice to see you post!

That is a great combination of colors you have sitting together. I need to dig up the area in front of our house and have been eying some similar shrubs. We have only lived on our 10 acres for 2 years, this will be our 3rd summer. We have had one good and one bad weather year. Hoping for a great growing season this year.

Hey Shery!

I LOVE this idea! This year I am using an old trough a friend gave us to plant some sweet potatoes in. It will be our Tator Trough :)

We found some Crystalix barrels and I will be planting some flowers, etc. in those too. They look neat :)

Thanks for sharing and I cannot wait to see everything in bloom so you better take some photos! :)

Have a blessed day!
Sharon

Love this idea Shery! I've got an old pedistal sink in our garden we use for a bird bath! It's fun to find new and creative uses for all the old stuff we love and can't live with out!
