Maiden Journey

A few days ago, I finally took my 'baby girl' (age 3) for our first ride at the ranch. I've been breeding Morgan Horses for about 15 years and she is one I bred and kept for myself. Her name is "Ribbon" - registered as "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon". It's a long wait from the time they're foals until you've got a horse under your saddle! But, here we are finally and she's a gem. Just wanted to share our maiden journey. *

Congratulations Shery!
giver a pat for me... and a kiss on the nose too!
She's just beautiful...and your sitting pretty atop her! She has the look of a wise old horse in her eyes.. Like she's older than her young years... brings tears of happiness to my eyes and a smile to my heart.
Love, Deb~

Hi! I'm new here. Just wanted to say that I have enjoyed doing some reading here this morning. I'm a big horse lover from way back. Don't have any right now, but hope to as soon as we get moved to our farm. I can't decide between quarter horses and Morgans. Your Ribbon is a beauty!

That has got to be the best feeling ever! I raised mine from birth until 2 1/2 years old. Almost done with the ground work and well, life does funny things sometimes and I couldn't keep him. She is very special!
