I'm so grateful for opportunities that have come my way recently. A person could think that we 'make our own luck', as some say, but I know better. The good Lord has shown me in so many ways over the years that He delights in reminding me that 'Every good and perfect gift comes from above.' I wouldn't have it any other way. Opportunity invites us to venture into what may be an unknown part of ourselves. It's not a foreign land. We own the property and it is our's to explore and develop. No permit required!

I don't expect you to remember me, but I remember you - from Dayton, Ohio. Didn't you used to do stitchery and dolls with Suellen Wassam, Alice Strebel, and Sally Korte? I went to a doll class you held on the base ( I won't say how many years ago that was) and I have a small Raggedy Ann signed by you. I love your blog...I've added it to my own blog list of great places to visit. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

What a refreshing oasis your blog is! I'm definately adding you to my list to follow and come to for reviving! Lord knows we need to cling to each other during these trying times with our country and leadership.
My only relief is knowing HE is still in control, despite what others care to beleive. You can take Him out of school and government but not out of my heart!
